Because of you and your generosity, we continue to positively impact people's lives right here in our community; there are so many exciting things happening at Sparrow because of YOU!

To illustrate how vitally important your partnership is, we've provided a sampling of some of the amazing things going on at Sparrow which have been made possible due to the amazing generosity within our community.

  • Forthcoming opening of The Plaza Building which will house the Herbert-Herman Cancer Center as well as Sparrow's Thoracic and Cardiovascular Institute.

  • Renovation of Sparrow's Children's Center, funded in large-part by donor dollars and opening on January 19.

  • Renovation of the Pediatric Playroom supported by High 5ive, the Drew Stanton Foundation as well as Summit Contractors.

  • Generous support for the Sparrow VOA Clinic, where Sparrow Physicians care for our area's homeless.

  • Installation of KWIKtrack, a ceiling mounted patient handling system at Mary Free Bed at Sparrow, our inpatient rehabilitation program, to ease rehabilitation and minimize fall risks.

  • Nearly 20 grants provided throughout Sparrow Health System, funded by the Sparrow Guild which has been in existance for over 90 years.

  • Matching gift to the Deborah L. and Michael G. Harrison Mammography Endowment provided by Sparrow Foundation's Women Working Wonders in support of women's health.

  • Implementation of the TheraSuit Method, an innovative pediatric rehabilitation therapy system used to treat cerebral palsy.

  • The recent opening of The Gathering Place at Sparrow, a modern upscale dining area on Sparrow's main campus which has received national attention!

With your help, in 2017 and in the years to come, we will continue to improve the health and lives of all who come through Sparrow's doors for their care, no matter their ability to pay.

Thank you for everything you do; we hope to see you again soon!

We are excited to announce that this year, W3 will take over the MSU Alumni Association’s 'Kaleidoscope: A Day for Women' event, which is now in its 40th year. This exciting opportunity led to W3’s decision to focus our committee’s efforts on just two major fundraising events for 2014:

Our 5th Annual Dapper Dads Challenge & Fashion Show on June 5

and

W3 Presents Kaleidoscope on September 5

At their conclusion, we’ll revisit including the W3 5k/0k Run, Walk, Revitalize event in our future fundraising efforts.

Meanwhile, we'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our most amazing sponsors, participants and vendors, who helped make our “5k/0k” so unique and who so enthusiastically supported W3 and our mission to improve the physical and psychological well-being of women in mid-Michigan.

It’s been a wonderful 10-year run.

Your efforts have truly made a difference in the lives of countless women in our community!
